Christian Education at Immanuel
Immanuel United Church of Christ offers a variety of educational
opportunities for children, youth, and adults. Our educational
program is designed to provide opportunities for the integration
of Christian faith with daily life. One does not have to be a
member to participate in any of our church's programs or ministries.
We hope you will take advantage of these learning opportunities.

Nursery
Child care is available for children of parents attending the Traditional Service at 9:00 AM. Parents share in providing the child care service.
Children & Youth
Classes for children from 3 years of age through the 12th grade are held every Sunday morning from 10:15-11:00 AM.
Adult Classes (More Info)
Currently there are two Sunday morning adult classes offered.
Vacation Bible School
The summer program is scheduled for the third week in June and
is offered to children three-years-old through the sixth grade.
Three and four-year-olds must have preschool experience. This
is a week of stories, crafts, music, and fun.
Confirmation Class
Confirmation classes begin each fall for those students entering
eighth and ninth grade. Special classes are scheduled as needed
for others who wish to be confirmed. Pre- and post-confirmation
classes surround our confirmation program. Currently all confirmation classes meet on Sunday mornings.
Immanuel Preschool (More Info)
Established in 1985, Immanuel Preschool serves children ages 2-5 from
within the church and the community; Programs include Toddler Time
(for child and parent), morning and afternoon sessions for 3-year-olds
and 4-year-olds and afternoon Stay and Play Classes: The Nature Adventure
and The Imagination Adventure.
Monday Morning Bible Study
This is an informal study and discussion group which meets Mondays
at 9:30a.m. with one of the pastors in the John Room. Please
join us, everyone is welcome.
New Member Classes
These four-week orientation sessions are scheduled throughout the year.
Lenten Soup and Study
Lenten sessions held every Wednesday evening of Lent from 6:00-7:30. The theme this year is "Finding Wisdom in the Book Job."
Dates/Location: Every Wednesday from February 28 through March 28th in Fellowship Hall.
