Dale holds a B.A. from Montclair State College (University) Upper Montclair, NJ, Summa Cum Laude and a M.Div. Andover Newton Theological School, Newton Centre, MA.. He was also a Certified Program Consultant, Trustee Leadership Development, TM (a program of the Lilly Foundation) Indianapolis, IN.

His first position after seminary was at the Brick UCC Church in North Carolina, one of the oldest German Reformed Church in North Carolina. He's held positions at two theological seminaries, Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and Andover Newton Theological School in Massachusetts. He has lead workshops on leadership at Robert Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership in Indianapolis, and assisted in the evaluation of a pioneering coursed on leadership at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He has also published articles on leadership, marketing and ministry. Dale served as Senior Pastor at Irondequoit UCC in Rochester NY, and he will begin his new position as Pastor of Immanuel UCC on 25 November 2008.

Dale is married to Helen and has two children, Hannah and Cameron. He loves reading biographies and history, cookouts, learning about others over a cup of coffee, cycling on country roads, running, road trips to a good baseball game, watching his kids achieve stuff he never imagined, walks along the ocean, and all kinds of music.
